Our name

In 1959 Benito Sinigaglia registered his small goldsmith workshop in Vicenza, and the code number that they gave him was 272*.
Ever since, 272* is the number that distinguishes Sinigaglia, the brand that identifies high quality handcraft goldsmith.

Sinigaglia 272* has always been handcrafted: 100% handmade. Our pieces are the result of detail-oriented work, made possible by the great sensitivity and experience
of those who master goldsmith technique in all of its finest aspects. Skilful eyes and hands, able to handle and perfect every detail in a nonstop improving process. We are radical artisans. Since 1959.

Deep Roots

Taste is a matter of culture. Vicenza’s goldsmith culture has a long history, deep roots and important traditions. Sinigaglia 272* has developed its own style, based on this knowledge and these roots, transforming it every day into something new. Sinigaglia 272* is strictly Italian-made.

Unconventional materials

Goldsmith is a very wide universe. But Sinigalia 272* has decided to explore its most noble areas only, using just gold of 18 carats and above.
Besides, when yellow gold is combined with copper and silver in different percentages, it becomes rose or white gold. Our creative system involves the use of other noble and unusual metals, such as PT950 Platinum and Palladium. Sinigaglia 272*. Noble and radical.

What’s the advantage of having handcraft skills? Being able to come up with original solutions.
The versatility of handmade creations allows us to create unique solutions and different combinations. Imagination is our only limit. 1959

The beginning
In Vicenza, Benito Singigalia registers a goldsmith company under his name. The registration number is 272*

1962

Society debut
In the historic Pavilion of Giardini Salvi, which, back then, was home to the Gold Fair in Vicenza, Sinigaglia exhibits his collections for the first time

1970

The growth
Throughout the 70s the company has a great expansion. The staff increases, as well as the number of collections

1982

Family business
After an apprenticeship, Benito’s two sons, Nicola and Massimo, join the company team

1990

The Platinum collection
Along with 18 carats gold, the company introduces platinum and starts producing new models enhanced with diamonds, pearls and gemstones. Sinigaglia goes platinum

1998

Oh, America!
Globalisation gets real and distances all of a sudden become irrelevant. Sinigaglia hits the US market and its typical matte making suddenly becomes a must have. So peculiar and recognisable that yellow gold jewellery is also known as “American yellow”

2008

A tribute to Palladio
In order to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Andrea Palladio’s birth, Sinigaglia launches a collection called Palladio Style. After 18 carats gold and platinum, a new element is added to the skills of the company: the palladium.
